Make the product move without changing it
One short shot with a continuity inspection and a usable-cost log.
What you need
One approved product still, a short motion brief and a small generation budget. Use an available image-to-video mode in Cirka or your current video tool.
Work through the exercise
- Start with the accepted still, not a written reconstruction of it. List three details that must survive motion: the silhouette, the label placement and the material. Select a duration offered by the chosen mode. Record the exact engine and whether the input is a still or text; these are different tests.
- Choose one movement: a gentle camera push, a small turn of the product, or one simple interaction. Keep the camera fixed when the subject moves for the first test. Asking for a camera orbit, a hand interaction and a lighting change at once makes a failure difficult to diagnose.
- Open Cirka Creator video and check which mode accepts the input you have. Paste the motion brief into the appropriate prompt field. If the selected mode cannot accept the approved still, change modes or tools; do not pretend that a text description preserves the same evidence. Check the quoted credits and avoid running a batch before the first take passes review.
- Inspect the first, middle and final frames, then scrub through the transition. Watch the label edges, product count, fingers where relevant, contact with the surface and unintended camera jumps. Listen separately if audio is generated. The best-looking thumbnail can hide an unusable middle.
- Trim the usable section. Log total rendering spend divided by accepted seconds, including rejected takes. Save the reference and the original output as well as the edit. Post the three inspected frames with a question about the weakest moment; ask for observable feedback rather than whether people like it.

A prompt to adapt
Replace the bracketed inputs with your own approved material. Keep unknown facts marked unknown.
Use the supplied approved still as the starting frame.
Preserve [three product identity details].
One continuous shot: [one movement].
Camera: [fixed, or one modest camera move].
Keep the same lighting, background and number of objects.
The action ends with [simple final state].
No scene change, added text or additional product.
If audio is enabled: [specific sound requirement, or no speech].Review your result
- Identity survives the entire accepted segment.
- The action has a coherent beginning and end.
- No accidental speech or unrelated sound remains.
- The cost includes failed takes, not just the winner.
If it fails
Reduce movement before extending the prompt. When a hand deforms, try a shot without a hand. When a label drifts, shorten the move and preserve the original still as the reference.
Try recalling it later
Why can two videos made with the same model be an unfair comparison?
Read the explanation
They may use different modes, reference inputs, durations, quality settings or numbers of attempts. Hold these constant or compare the workflows separately.
Sources and tools
This is an original club exercise. The source-check date identifies this reference edition; it is not a result from running the prompt.
Cirka is our founder's app. We use it as an optional creative workspace in these examples. A separate subscription or credits may be required. Check the tools and models actually available in your account; a model mentioned in a guide is not a claim of Cirka integration.
